Classroom observations and casual conversations with students have proven that when we tell students what they are learning and why, they will learn it. It's a common sense practice that adds to the "Best Practices" that you implement every day in your classroom. Great job making the learning meaningful and relevant to your students!
Behavior Expectations

PSD Report Cards - Here's your chance to brag about kids on paper!
Teacher Access Center (TAC) opened the window for data entry on Nov. 13. Comments must be completed in the comment section this year. Completed report cards are due to your evaluator (Rebecca or Susan) by Nov. 24. Keep the following details about competing your report cards in mind:
- Mark the scores on your report using at least 3 pieces of evidence - assessments, classwork, observations (any combination of evidence, but not all observation in most cases)
- Comments are intended to inform parents of this year's progress and future colleagues of past progress - include data and factual statements in the body of your report card
You're reporting on the progress of a parent's most prized relationship - that of their child - be honest, but gentle. Begin and end with positive statements.
In a nutshell:
Nov 13 Report Card Window Open
Nov 24 Report Card Rough Drafts due to Rebecca or Susan
Dec 1 Final Report Cards Printed
Dec 2 Report Cards Go Home
Home Stretch
We're heading into the First Trimester Home Stretch - stay the course - you're making a difference every day for kids! Have a Super Week!
