April 26 to April 30

Learning Targets Target Learning...
...Assessments Aim Where To Go Next
Here we go - the gathering of data! Spring assessments will tell us how we did, and what we need to continue focusing on as we wrap up the 2009-2010 school year. Here's a quick summary of some upcoming Assessments:
  • WLPT-II: measuring the acquisition of English by ELL students
  • DIBELS: Oral Reading Fluency - the scores are outstanding! Stay tuned for detailed summary graphs for your class
  • Spring Building Writing Assessments
  • Open Court Reading Assessment: measuring comprehension at grades 3-6
  • MBSP: measuring math computation and concepts and applications for use on the Bridges Field Study, but also helpful to pinpoint improvements and areas of need
  • MSP: for AYP status - the measure of all measures! for assessing GLEs learned at grades 3-6

Every Monday Matters
It's evaluation season - and what that means for Susan and me is the welcome opportunity to brag about Y-O-U and the GREAT work you do for kids. There aren't enough 'right' words to describe how amazing Team Hunt is...please watch for an opportunity to review your evaluation. All evaluations are due to HR by May 18 (it's coming up quick!). If you see your admin team 'holed' up in our offices - that's what we are doing!
