Grandparent's Day
A scheduling glitch has forced us to modify our plans a bit. We're still hosting Grandparents for lunch, but it will be for only one day. Thank you in advance for your patience and flexibility. Your instructional time is critical, we know...here's the plan as it stands now:

• Jan 14 - PTA Bingo Night and Grandparent's Event (no lunch plans)
• Jan 18 - Grandparents Lunch - kids will eat with their Grandparents in the gym (be prepared, some kids may eat outside their lunch period to accommodate families with more than one child)

January is the Assessment Month! We'll have data to compare and confirm that our efforts are paying off! Mark your plan books for these tentative dates:

• Reading Comp (MAZE) - grades 2-6: Jan 18 - Jan 24 (teacher scored)
• Building Writing - all grades: January 31 to Feb 4 (Team Scoring Feb 9)
• WRI - 2nd Grade: Jan 10 to Jan 25
• GMRT - 6th Grade: Jan 10 - Jan 26 (online testing, Team Training Jan 5)
