Last week was a good week back to school – thanks to you! Thanks for welcoming your students with a smile and stepping right into the routines of learning.
Safety First
Deputy Papen spent a bit of time here at Hunt last week – to ensure a safe environment. Everything is fine, but it is always a good reminder to be mindful of your surroundings. Be sure to report any suspicious behavior, vandalism, or visitors without badges during school hours. A No Trespassing Order has been re-filed on a ‘regular unwelcome guest’. Please see the office staff if you have questions or concerns about that incident.
Planning for the 2012-2013 School Year
Per the CBA, Certificated Staff are encouraged to share their wishes for the next school year's assignment. A form will be in your box this week, please return it to Rebecca or Colleen by January 27, 2012 at 4pm.
Supplemental Day – January 27
No School for Students, Professional Day for Teachers – see your email for agenda, locations, and detailed information.
Soles4Souls – these boots were made for walking…keep ‘em coming! A bunch of shoes have already been collected, but Soles4Souls could use more to reach their goal of 13,000 shoes. Money donations are also welcome.
Building Budget Update
A proposal was submitted to the CAOs to purchase IXL Math using carry over money from last year that was re-allocated in December for all our students. Remember we wanted to do this with Title I money? Stay tuned for approval.
