Honoring Cultures Diversity Celebration
You each do an amazing job of ‘REACH’ing all our students throughout the year. March is the month to reflect that work through bulletin board displays. REACH projects should be displayed in the halls by March 1. District administrators and Gerald Denman will be coming to our school to see the kids’ work and reflections on Honoring Cultures and Diversity. Diversity team will be selecting artwork and mounting it by March 16 for the Spring Fair.

Science Fair – March 2
Community agreement is that all classrooms will create a science board using an experiment from the science kits to display at the Science Fair. This is one way to expose and create experiences for all kids using the Scientific Process and presentation of results. If you need a board, see Colleen or Sara.

March Gladness
“Spring Into Action” is a District-wide event! PSD is partnering with Goodwill Industries to collect new and gently used clean clothes. Students will be given a bag to place items in the first week of March. Filled bags will be returned to school between March 12-16. Stay tuned for more details…

Admin & Office Staff ProDev
Rebecca, Lisa, Colleen, and Sara will be attending a conference called How To Work Less, Produce More, and Still Get the Job Done in a Sensible Work Week on Thursday and Friday of this week. Rachel Collins will be Admin Sub; a sub will sub for Rachel’s Title I classes.
Trimester 2 Report Cards
Data entry window is open…draft reports are due to admin by March 13 for review. Final Report Cards go home Monday, March 19, but will be printing March 16.
