Word On the Street
MSP Continues This Week! The MSP is going GREAT! There are two more days of testing on Tuesday and Thursday. The kids are doing a great job! Thank you, 3-6 teachers, for providing the best testing environment possible. Just your walking around and monitoring helps keep kids focused and engaged.
Primary (K-2) – please take a minute to thank your students for keeping the hallways quiet.
Spring DIBELs – already?Yep! May 15 to May 18. Schedules will be sent out this week. We’ll use this data and the MAZE data to make some comparisons in growth since the Fall. Way to Go – there is much to celebrate!
Staff Emergency CardAll staff need to have an updated emergency card on file with Colleen. If you received a card last week, please return it completed by Friday, April 11. If you’ve moved, changed phones – or decided to transfer your birthday to a new year - please see Colleen to update your card.
End ‘o Year Information
Evaluations: aka Brag Fest About YOU!
Certificated Staff – 2 Things
Certificated Staff – 2 Things
- Lisa and Rebecca will be scheduling time to review your evaluation the week of May 14. If there is something you want us to reflect in your paperwork, please send it to your evaluator by Wednesday, May 9.
- If you work with a para-professional in the classroom, you will be receiving a reflection form related to the Classified Evaluation. Please return the form to Colleen by May 11.
Classified Staff – 1 ThingIn your box, you will receive a feedback form inviting you to provide input on the work you are doing with students. This information will help accurately reflect your work over the year.
Student Placement ProceduresPlease let us know how we can help you with this process. Many of you started creating the lists last week. The next scheduled time to work is this Wednesday, May 9 (fyi: CSIP will still meet at 1:06).
Curriculum and MaterialsThere is a specific process we MUST follow to surplus, obsolete, and transfer District adopted curriculum and support materials. More details to come, but if you plan to start cleaning out, please see Lisa for the protocol.
Non-District Issued FurniturePer the Fire Marshall and PSD’s Risk Management, non-District issued furniture must be removed from classrooms prior to the 2012-2013 school year. Before June 19, please make arrangements to have couches, chairs, and the kitchen sink removed. (Just kidding about the kitchen sink!) The reason is due to fire code and what the sprinkler system is geared to do in the event of a fire. Thanks for understanding.
Summer School and SuchStudent names and lists are under construction right now. We have to use the rank order list maintained through Title I. Rachel will be contacting teams to confirm names and move forward. A letter of interest will be going home this week to pre-selected kids to get the ball rolling.
