Class Placements
Please be sure to complete the pink and blue cards and class roster form before your team gathers for initial placements. May's staff meeting is booked for this collaborative work. If any team wishes to begin this work early, please let me know.
Report Card Season
Before the end of the week, I'll place District Assessment results in your box. You should have the raw scores for DIBELS, and the Assessment Department has posted the Comprehension scores on SARGS. Paper copies will be coming your way specific to your class.
As a reminder, report cards should be informative for both parents and future school personnel. Start positive, include data, and end positive. Here's your chance to brag about the great learning and growth your students have demonstrated!
Dates (as released by Student Learning Department)
- May 27 - TAC Opens for Data Input
- June 11 - Report Card Drafts due to Rebecca and Susan (by 4pm)
- June 15 - TAC Closes (4pm)
- June 16 - Report Cards go home
Expectation! That's what I feel as we head into MSP week. The urgency to get out of school improvement has hung over our school all year. Here's the deal, though...you are making a difference! I am fully expecting that our students will do their best this week and show what they know. With you as their Instructional Leader and with you as the greatest predictor of success - it's a win-win for our students and school. Even before we know the results of this test - Thank You, Thank You, Thank YOU for all you do!
