May 24 to May 28 - Count Down Days 15 to 11

Learning Targets Target Learning
PHEW Collectively - your good work will pay off! With MSP done, District Spring Assessments wrapping up, and final report cards getting started this week. For the primary grades - you've laid a solid and strong foundation. For the intermediate grades - no matter what the state tests show - you continued strengthening the learning and potential of your students. I hope you feel proud of yourself and your team!

Class Placements
Please be sure to complete the pink and blue cards and class roster form before your team gathers for initial placements on May 26 at 7:45am. If any team wishes to begin this work early, please let me know - I've already received a few team's info - thanks!

Report Card Season - TAC Open May 27
I said I was going to get the data in your box this week. Had a little tech trouble, but we're back in business...data will be in grade 3-6 boxes by Monday afternoon. Thanks for your patience.

I know you know this, and I know you practice it, too. But a reminder is worth sharing...balance is the name of the report card game! Be informative for both parents and future school personnel, but personal and caring as well.

Start positive ---include data --- and end positive.

Here's your chance to brag about the great learning and growth your students have demonstrated!

Dates (as released by Student Learning Department)

  • May 27 - TAC Opens for Data Input
  • June 11 - Report Card Drafts due to Rebecca and Susan (by 4pm)
  • June 15 - TAC Closes (4pm)
  • June 16 - Report Cards go home

Every Monday Matters
Thank You! You make me feel appreciated every day - but this last week was a treat! Here's my deal, though...I tried really hard to keep my list of goodies and the person who gave in order, but I fear I may have mismatched or overlooked a thoughtful gesture. If I have not or did not thank you personally, I apologize in advance. Not because of the gifts, notes, and food - but because you are some of the most amazing people I've every worked with and for - it is I who is one lucky ducky! You make getting up on Monday mornings a good thing - and many of you know I am not a morning person! :) Have a GREAT week!
