Sept 7 to Sept 10 - It's A Short Week!

Learning Targets Target Learning
This is the week to start this important professional practice for at least Reading and Math. See the xChange folder for a refresher on Learning Targets if you need it.

Puzzling About What To Do?
1. Staff Puzzle Pieces - Every staff member should have a puzzle piece to design. Have 'em done by Sept 29 for the Staff Meeting. If you need a piece, see Kellie. If you need another piece, see Kellie! :)

2. Key Chains - EVERYONE who works at Hunt is an important piece to the puzzle of our work. Please help yourself to a chain

3. Class Puzzles - What creative ways you've shown with this class team building activity!

Every Monday Matters
What a start! And it hasn't even been a Monday yet! Thanks for all you did to make this the best start to a school year I've ever witnessed! Contrary to the FedEx Commercial I showed at our Supplemental Day:

  • You are providing our students with the latest greatest instructional practices, not 'old information'!
  • You are living up to your profession and calling - and then some!

  • You are making informed decisions that benefit students, not 'waffling' on 'gut instinct'!
  • You talk a 'BIG GAME' - but you also follow it with ACTION! You do believe EVERY child can learn!

  • You didn't 'fold under the pressure' this week - when it would have been easier to be 'like a lawn chair'!

  • You are doing what's best for kids, rather than 'thinking everyone's out to get you'!

Need a good giggle again? The video is linked above. Thank you, Thank you, Thank YOU!
