Grandparents Sweetheart Lunch - Feb 14
This one day event will look different this year. Thank you for accommodating the changes to help our guests feel welcome and honored.
- Families will be returning RSVPs (but we expect some will forget)
- Grandparents who are meeting just one student will come to your class to eat with their Highlander. They will be escorted by a 6th grade student leader.
- Grandparents who are meeting more than one student will meet their Highlanders in the gym. A 6th grade student leader will come and pick up the kids and take them to the gym.
Lunch Money
Central kitchen is asking that we change our lunch money practice. Because of auditing issues, if your students bring money to school for lunch or milk, they must keep it until lunch and bring it to the lunch gals at that time. Money should be be in a baggie or envelope with the child's name and your name. Please post a message in your next newsletter about this and encourage families to use the online payment option called MySchoolBucks - linked here for you (www.MySchoolBucks.com).

Every Monday Matters
How will you "ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch onto the affirmative, and avoid Mr. In-between" this week? Love this song written and performed by Johnny Mercer. It was a favorite of my Music Teacher-Big Band-Orchard Farmer lovable Granddad. When you accentuate the positive, you get more than you you expect! Enjoy and have a GREAT week!
